7th/10th - 14th/17th November, Tordandrea of Assisi
This Festival is dedicated to Autumnal products, such as the new olive oil and wine. Its aim is to promote Umbrian traditions and traditional foods of the first decades of the XXth century.
Here you can taste these foods, such as salted codfish with tomatoes, prunes and raisins or cabbage with bread and olive oil.But there are also other local products, such as bruschette with olive oil, slices of grilled bread with escargots, tagliatelle (pasta) with mashrooms, penne (pasta) with truffle, sausages and cream, baked potatoes… At the end of the meal you will enjoy chestnuts and the rocciata (Assisi sweet).
