Collazzone - La Segreta
At La Segreta, we understand that the secret to creating distinctive wines starts in the vineyard. Following the traditions of local Umbrian vignaiolos, we take great care of the land and are watchful of the vines. The end result is our Prima Prova (First Experiment) - a hand-blended red wine grown on the storied slopes of La Segreta and made from indigenous varietals including Sangiovese, Colorino, Malvasia Nera and Sagrantino. Come back to this page soon for additional photographs, more releases and maybe a review or two.
Just outside the medieval town of Todi lies a secret olive grove. Hidden among the rolling hills above the Tiber River, the grove’s rich soil and abundant sunlight produce great olives. Each fall the fruit is hand picked by Graziano and crew and we unveil our newest supply by mid November. We have shipped a limited supply back in the U.S. and we are happy to share it with you.
