Onion Festival
30 August to 4 September
The onion festival is for the town of Cannara the most important event of the year. There will be 5 taverns to taste different onion specialties, the local products cooked in many varieties, and offered in the food stands set up in the town squares of the historic center of Cannara. For the occasion, the onions, along with other typical products, are also sold in the characteristic braids throughout the streets of the town.
One more reason to know this small but evocative Umbrian town that thanks to the onion is now known nationwide.
